End of Term Finish

Next Friday 26^th June is the last day of Term 2. We will finish at 2.30pm so parents and carers will need to collect students one hour earlier than usual. If you are unable to collect at that time, please enrol them in OSHC.

Reports and Portfolios

Due to the pandemic and remote learning, a modified report has been written for each student. The reports will be accessible through Compass next Monday at 3.30pm. We strongly encourage families to download the report so that you always have access to it. In the past we have sent home portfolios with examples of student work. However, this semester we will not be sending home portfolios. We know that you have seen many examples of the work your child produces during remote learning or the care and supervision program. We will send a Compass note on Monday to let you know when the reports are available.

Staggered Drop Off and Pick Up Times

We are using a staggered approach to minimise the number of parents and carers who are arriving at any one time. This will allow everyone to adhere to social distancing guidelines. These times will remain in place at least until the end of term and we will communicate with you when the Department of Education & Training updates their guidelines.

Lost Property

A table with lost property on it will be out the front of the school on Warncliffe Road this Friday for parents wanting to search for lost items. The table is there all day.

Loaned Devices P - 6

We kindly request that the remaining borrowed devices for all year levels be returned to the school. These are needed for the day-to-day learning program at school.

We will be accepting these devices on Thursday 18^th June between 8:40am and 9:15am outside the school office entrance on Warncliffe Road. Please ensure that you also return any device chargers/power leads along with the borrowed device.

End of Term Celebration

Thanks to the class reps, have come up with a way to celebrate the end of Term 2 without requiring parents to be onsite. Each year level has nominated a day next week where they can have a special morning tea made by Sonia in the canteen. There are a range of snack and drink options available and parents can choose whether or not their child participates. Orders can be made until 9:30am on the day of your class morning tea, however it is a big help for Sonia if orders are done before the day. Please note the day that your class will be having morning tea as parents need to select this when they place the order.

This morning tea can be ordered through My School Connect so there is no money to be collected or forms to return. Ordering instructions are included in this bulletin.

The days for each year level are as follows:

Tuesday 23rd of June - Grades 3, 5 & 6

Wednesday 24th June - Preps & Grade 4

Thursday 25th June - Grades 1 & 2
