The PTFA met recently to review our current events and fundraising plan and, as you can imagine, a lot of activity is on hold due to COVID-19 social distancing restrictions. As we start to see these restrictions eased, and in line with Department of Education guidelines of what can be held on school grounds, we will review our plans and breathe a bit of life back into our PTFA!

With this in mind, please pencil in Wednesday 22 July @7.30pm for the next PTFA meeting if you would like to attend. We hope to have a lot more clarity by then and be able to make some solid decisions on the events and fundraising until the end of the year.

Coming up in the next two weeks

End of Term special lunches.

You may have already received an email from your class rep this week on the options for an end of term special lunch option via the canteen.

There are instructions in that email on how to book your catering via the canteen app by next Monday at the latest.

Dates for the lunches are as follows:

1. Tuesday 23 June – Grades 3,5 and 6
2. Wednesday 24 June – Preps and Grade 4
3. Thursday 25 June – Grades 1 and 2

Teachers end of term morning tea.

As we are not currently permitted to provide morning tea into the school, or have the teachers congregate in groups, we are providing each of the teachers with a voucher for a coffee and muffin from Picket Fence in East Ivanhoe Village for them to use in the last week as a special thank you to our teachers while supporting one of our school community’s local business.
