The 2020 Fair

School Council met last week and after much consideration, made the decision to cancel the 2020 Fair. This decision was not made lightly but we cannot see any likelihood of being able to hold an event of this size even if the current COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Therefore, the next Fair will be in 2022. This ensures that we will host a fair in alternate years to Ivanhoe Primary School to maximise sponsorship opportunities for both schools.

We want nothing more than to have our students and families to reconnect with each other and this will be a priority when we are all able to come together again. We look forward to being able to host a fun, family event to celebrate our community.  In the meantime, the PTFA are meeting via Zoom at 7.30pm next Wednesday the 19^th of August to talk about a possible virtual event for this year. All are welcome to join, so please email Ingrid Broberg for the details.

Virtual Assembly

We are excited to invite you to our virtual assembly which will be held via WebEx each Wednesday at 2.30pm.
 
This is a great opportunity for students to connect across year levels & to share their learning experiences. Each week will feature a different year level, sharing their learning, as well as a fun interactive game or activity run by our PAG representatives. Hosted by Year 6 students, and running for around 15 minutes. We encourage your child, or the whole family to join us!

Microsoft Teams Webinars

We will be hosting some webinars this week to help you learn more about using MS Teams to access and upload learning tasks. The Senior School has already held two webinars and the recording has been shared with families who were unable to attend.

Enrolments for 2021

The Department of Education has suspended all school tours so we will be using Webex to host virtual tours for parents and carers of children who are commencing Prep in 2021.

Tours will be limited to 4 families at a time and will run from 9.15am until approximately 10.00am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
