Parent Teacher Meetings

We are holding the parent teacher meetings on Thursday the 10th of September in teachers’ WebEx meeting rooms. These meetings provide an opportunity for teachers and parents to discuss student progress and set future learning goals. Students are welcome to attend these meetings so that they can contribute to the conversation. Bookings close at 12pm on Wednesday the 9th of September so please ensure that you have made your booking before this time. Please note that there will not be any check ins- check outs, live lessons or small group classes on this day.

Feedback Survey

Thank you for completing the most recent survey to provide us with feedback which helps us to:

  • Understand how the remote learning program is working for you and your family
  • Identify how you are keeping your children motivated during remote learning so that we can share this with other families
  • Understand how we can support you and your family
  • Identify any questions that you would like to ask your child’s teacher at the parent teacher meetings on the 10th of September.

The survey will remain open until Thursday the 3rd of September and can be accessed via this link:

New Website

We have been updating our school website and are very excited that we can now share it with you. Thank you to Simone McDonald for designing the icons for key links on the home page and for our school values. You can access the website here:

Please share your feedback by selecting the ‘Bulletin Feedback’ icon at the top of this page.

3B News

Ms Katie Butcher will be commencing Family Leave at the end of this week and we wish her all the best as she and Drew await the arrival of their baby. We extend a warm welcome to Ms Nicole Glassenbury who will be 3B’s teacher for the remainder of the year.

Home is Where the Art Is

Thank you to Mr Yoos and the Art Captains for launching the ‘Home is Where the Art Is’ project. Families are encouraged to create an artwork that can be displayed from their house or front yard and submit photos that will be shared at a virtual ‘opening night’ on the 17th of September. Please see the flyer in today’s Bulletin for further information.

Respecting Everyone’s Story

We were recently interviewed by the Asia Education Foundation for an article about how schools incorporate the value of respect into their communities. The article can be accessed here:

2021 Planning

Please advise us as soon as possible if you know your child will not be attending Ivanhoe East Primary School next year. This information will assist us with our planning for 2021.
