Book Week

We celebrated our love of reading this week and enjoyed seeing so many of our students dressing up as their favourite book character yesterday. There was a high level of excitement in classrooms and the playground as children showed off their costumes.

World Teachers’ Day

Australia will celebrate and thank the teaching profession on World Teachers’ Day this Friday 30 October.

This year our teachers have worked in partnership with you to support your children’s learning. The challenges of 2020 have reinforced the significant role that teachers play in the lives of children and students, their families and communities. I am immensely proud of our teachers for their professionalism, resilience and constant efforts to support and challenge all of their students.

Planning for 2021

Please note that the deadline for sharing information regarding your child’s placement for 2021 is at the end of today, Wednesday the 28^th of October. Any relevant information must be put it in writing to Justine Mackey at ivanhoe.east.ps@education.vic.gov.au. Please note that while we take any information that you provide into consideration, the final decisions regarding your child’s placement rest with the teaching staff and leadership team.
