IEPS Working Bee Weekend
On Saturday the 27th of March, to Sunday the 28th of March, from 12-4 pm, the environment club held a two day working bee. Many families turned up to lend a helping hand, digging up mulch, weeds and debris that was packed on top of the rich soil. It provided a nice environment for the 2200 indigenous plants, coming in Term 2.
We would like to thank FoodWorks Ivanhoe East for providing sausages and bread, keeping everyone at the event working hard all day on a full stomach. We would also like to give a big thanks to everyone who came over during the weekend and lent us a helping hand. The transformation that “The Banks” has already made to the overall look and feel of our schoolyard is incredible, so thank you for all your hard work.
