2022 Enrolments

If you have not yet enrolled your Prep child for 2022, please do so via the office as soon as possible.

Please advise us as soon as possible if your child/children will not be attending Ivanhoe East Primary School next year. This information assists with staffing and planning the number of classes at each year level.

Year 5 Camp

Our Year 5 students are very excited that camp can go ahead next week. The camp is running from Monday to Wednesday at Camp Alexandra Adventure Resort and we know they will have a wonderful time. Thank you to Ben Phillips for his excellent organisation of the camp, to Lucy Foster, Adrienne Posar and Justin Bartlett for attending and supporting Ben and the students. A very big thank you to parents Brad Pearce, Kim Samuel & Achilles Tsiavas for giving up time with their families to attend camp and help with the supervision of students.

Hats and Covid Safety

As part of our safe return to school, classes will be doing more outdoor learning when the weather permits. The broad-brimmed school hat is compulsory in Terms 1 and 4 in order to protect students from the hotter sun during play times and PE lessons. Hats will be even more important as we engage with outdoor learning. Please remind your child to bring their hat each day to school and ensure the hat is named so it can be returned to its owner if left somewhere.  

Canteen

The Canteen will be open for lunch orders as of today, Wednesday 3^rd November. Sandwiches (fresh and toasted) will be available as lunch orders through MySchool Connect in addition to recess and lunch counter sales. There is currently a limit on the number of volunteers that can help in the Canteen at any one time.
