Thank you all for your continued support during this challenging term. Our students have shown extraordinary resilience through the remote learning program and in their transition to face to face teaching. Our teachers are to be commended on their professionalism and commitment to the wellbeing and learning needs of your children. Thank you to each of you for supporting your children’s learning in ways that you would never have expected to. We acknowledge the challenges that you have faced during this time and have also enjoyed hearing about the positive aspects of this experience. Many of you have told us that you have a greater understanding of your child as a learner and we look forward to strengthening our partnership with you throughout the year. The term will finish at 2.30pm on Friday and we hope that everyone has a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
Thank you PTFA
All of our staff were very grateful to the PTFA for the Picket Fence voucher for a coffee and a muffin. This kind gesture was greatly appreciated.
Permission for your child to appear in videos shared in the Bulletin and website
The Year 6 Press Club are creating a weekly Assembly video to be played in each classroom. This replaces the usual whole school assembly. The assembly video includes interviews with students, student of the week and class or small group performances. We would like to be able to share the weekly assembly video with you all by including it in the weekly Bulletin.
From time to time, there may be other videos of students that we would like to share with the school community. These would also be added to the weekly Bulletin and may be available on the school website.
Your child may only appear in any of these videos if we have your approval so please refer to the Compass notice that was sent on Monday in order to provide the required permission.
Digital Assembly
Please enjoy our first digital assembly which was prepared by our Year 6 Press Club. The students did everything from script writing, filming, green screen, editing, sound and lighting.

At this stage, the Department of Education has suspended all school tours so we will be using Webex to host virtual tours for parents and carers of children who are commencing Prep in 2021.
Tours will be limited to 4 families at a time and will run from 9.15am until approximately 10.00am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Please make a booking via this link https://www.trybooking.com/BKFDH and make a note of the meeting link.
