We are thinking of you and your families as we all make adjustments to the new Stage 4 restrictions throughout Melbourne.
We are committed to supporting you through these challenging times and remind you to engage with the learning program in ways that best suit you and your family. Do what you can, when you can and reach out to us if you need support.
We are here to support you and encourage you to use the following resources.

The University of Melbourne Psychology Unit is offering free, short-term interventions via Telehealth for children and adolescents who may be experiencing stress and anxiety, low self-esteem and other issues. Further information can be found in this flyer:
Thank you for providing feedback in the latest survey. 30 families responded and there was a high level of appreciation for the changes that we have made to the program. Of course, there are always suggestions for improvement. There were a couple of requests for more live lessons or 1:1 sessions. Please be mindful that our teacher’s weekly schedules do not allow for any more live lessons. The afternoons are for assessment, planning, and meetings in accordance with their workplace conditions. Teachers have dedicated time for communication in their weekly schedule, so please make note of this time and contact your child’s teacher if you have any specific questions.
Some families told us that they are unsure how to upload learning tasks to MS Teams so we will host some live webinars next week so teachers can take you through the steps. Specific details about these webinars will be shared with you once they are finalised.
Environment Club
We have a dedicated group of students and parents who lead the IEPS Environment Club. Some of the students created this video to share why they want the school to use clean energy. I enjoyed meeting with these students on WebEx to hear more about what we can do to help our environment. I have continued to have discussions with their parents who will be presenting to School Council this evening.
Please enjoy the following video that was recorded and edited by some of the students from the Environment Club.
Enrolments for 2021
The Department of Education has suspended all school tours so we will be using Webex to host virtual tours for parents and carers of children who are commencing Prep in 2021.
Tours will be limited to 4 families at a time and will run from 9.15am until approximately 10.00am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The PTFA on behalf of the whole school community would like to celebrate Justine Mackey and Adrienne Dudley this Friday on Principals’ Day.
I think we can all agree that this year has been like no-other for planning, leadership and school engagement. We wish to thank them for their resilience and care for pupils and teachers when “pivot” has become the norm. As we all 'remote school' on Friday lets acknowledge them and the hard work they, and the rest of the teaching staff are putting in at the moment to support us as best they can.
