Additional Teaching Support
We will be prioritising the allocation of additional teacher support where it is needed most and will base this on student assessment information and class sizes.

School Values
We continue to prioritise our school values which were developed last year after a review led by PAG and the Wellbeing AIP team. This review included students, parents and staff through surveys, community circle discussions and analysis of feedback. These are the key values that drive our core purpose to provide a learning environment where all students are known and cared for so they can be challenged and supported to achieve.
These are the values for all members of our school community:
Curiosity is always wanting to learn new things.
We ask questions to further our knowledge.
Resilience is persisting through challenging situations.
We see challenges as opportunities to learn and grow.
Respect is valuing everyone’s rights, beliefs and differences.
We treat everyone equally.
Friendship is being inclusive and supportive of others.
We are kind, empathetic, honest and trustworthy.
Smiling Mind
We have been fortunate to work with Smiling Mind this year through a DET led partnership aimed to improve the wellbeing of our staff and students. Smiling Mind is now incorporated into daily tuning in activities in the classroom and regular timetabled lessons with class teachers. The Smiling Mind App has many great resources that you can use to support the wellbeing of your family and further information can be found on their website. I encourage you to talk to your child and ask them how their classroom mindfulness practice is helping their wellbeing.

Final PTFA meeting for 2020 - Wednesday 25 November
Hello everyone.
I can’t believe it’s already November! What a year we have made it through. I have high hopes for 2021 and what we can start to do again with the School Community in both our fundraising and social events capacity.
Our final PTFA meeting will be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday 25 November via zoom. It should only be a short meeting.
If you think you would like to become more involved (in a formal or ad-hoc capacity) in 2021 we would love you to come along and see what goes on behind the scenes. Please contact Ingrid Broberg at ingridblandy@hotmail.com to register your attendance.
If you would like to chat about the sort of commitment and support we will be looking for in 2021 you can give me a call or email me at hmcbain00@gmail.com or at 0407670963.
Thank you
